The AI Generation – Knowledge Center for Parents

Join the Creative AI Revolution

What if you could create stunning images or professional videos—without a camera, expensive gear, or prior editing skills? With AI tools like MidJourney, DALL·E, and Runway ML, anyone can become a content creator at the click of a button. But alongside the excitement, important questions arise: How can we tell real content from AI-generated media? And how do we use these tools responsibly to prevent the spread of misinformation?

Here you'll find a dynamic list of top creative tools, ideas for using them meaningfully, and courses to help you produce high-quality content with AI. Plus, articles and videos to guide and inspire you along the way.

📘 5 AI Generation guides: knowledge and tools for parents

The guides are based on Dr. Limor Leibovitz's blog posts and podcast episodes. To book a workshop or talk, contact me here

🛡️ Guide 1: Resilience and self-efficacy – the greatest gift you can give a child

In a world changing at a dizzying pace, we can't guess what the job market will look like in 20 years. So our role as parents is changing: not to prepare the path for the child, but to prepare the child for the path.

Nurturing grit: Encourage children to persevere even when it's hard. Like Ohad, who didn't give up on 20 sets of Eurovision cards, teach them that the effort is the value, not only the result.

Handing over the wheel: Start as the driver (modeling), move to the passenger seat (coaching), and finally let go of the wheel. Let them make mistakes and correct them in real time.

Self-efficacy: Let them feel that "if someone can do it, so can I." AI is a tool for expanding that ability, not a substitute for it.

Did you know? Resilience is built through controlled exposure to difficulty, not by wrapping children in cotton wool.

🚀 Guide 2: The child as entrepreneur – turning curiosity into something real

AI is a force multiplier for children's creativity. It lets an 11-year-old build projects that once required a whole team of adults.

Find the passion: Everything starts with what fascinates them (flags, cooking, computer games). Don't dismiss it as a waste of time – it's the starting point.

AI as a partner: Teach them to use a bot to solve technical problems: "How do I build an order form?", "How do I design a card?"

Build a work plan: Help them break the big dream into small tasks. Entrepreneurship is a skill learned hands-on.

Did you know? Children who create things (a video, a game, a product) develop a sense of control in the tech world instead of being passive consumers.

👥 Guide 3: Kids teaching kids – the power of peer mentoring

When one child teaches another, pedagogical magic happens: the teacher deepens their knowledge, and the learner gets a role model at eye level.

Create spaces for expression: Encourage children to run a small "class" (even on Zoom or for the family) on a topic they know well.

Learning by teaching: The best way to learn something deeply is to explain it to someone else. That's true mastery.

Breaking the hierarchy: In the world of AI, children are sometimes the "experts." Let them teach you – it builds tremendous self-confidence.

Did you know? Peer learning (collaborative learning) is one of the most valued skills in modern organizations.

🧠 Guide 4: Future thinking – what really needs to be learned today?

The old question of "sciences or humanities?" is becoming irrelevant. The future belongs to people who can connect worlds and work at the seam between science and people.

Lifelong learning: In a world where almost 40% of skills will change by 2030, the ability to acquire new knowledge independently is the key to progress – more than any fixed "prestigious" profession.

The "slasher" generation: Gen Z no longer chooses a single identity. They combine: an engineer who is also a musician, a teacher who is also an entrepreneur. Encourage children to hold more than one professional identity and move flexibly between fields.

Listening as a starting point: Personal interest is the strongest engine of learning. Instead of pushing toward a "well-paid" profession, notice where your child shines – that's where their path to success begins.

Core skills: Focus on nurturing curiosity, flexibility and collaboration. These are the tools that will make them antifragile: not only surviving the shocks of an unpredictable future, but growing stronger from them.

Did you know? The pay gap between STEM graduates and humanities graduates tends to narrow after age 40, when "human" abilities such as critical thinking and leadership become critical in management.

❤️ Guide 5: Parental dialogue – keeping our humanity among the screens

When bots sound empathetic and encouraging, human connection becomes a challenge. Our dialogue with our children must be the place where they meet values and honesty.

Parental presence in the kitchen (or at the computer): be there when they create. Not to criticize, but to show interest. "How did you come up with this idea?" "What did the AI help you do?"

Humanizing values: AI can give answers, but it can't give a moral compass. Talk with them about empathy, honesty and what it means to be human.

Critical thinking: Teach them that AI makes mistakes, hallucinates and is sometimes biased. Turn the machine's mistakes into a game of shared discovery.

Did you know? Teens turn to bots about emotional topics because the bot doesn't judge them. Our role is to offer human warmth that no bot can imitate.
