The AI Generation
Educating Children in a World of Artificial Intelligence

Dr. Limor Libovitz
Are our children ready for a world in which artificial intelligence is reshaping every aspect of our lives?
The disruptive rise of generative AI raises critical questions: Will it make redundant the professions we are preparing our children for? Or perhaps it will open new horizons we have yet to imagine? How can we nurture their unique human abilities alongside mastery of emerging technologies? And how can we ensure they will not only survive in the new world but also lead the change?
This 240-page book, written by Dr. Limor Libovitz, was published in early February 2025 and is now available for purchase.

“This is the most fascinating and in-depth book written so far on artificial intelligence and education.”
“In an era of rapid and unpredictable change, this profound book provides a practical roadmap for preparing our children for a world in which artificial intelligence is not just a tool, but a partner in creation, work, and even life.”

From the Introduction of the Book
In my lectures to education communities, I begin with a question that encourages people to imagine the future: What are the chances that, in ten years, your children will have an artificial friend? Responses range from “No way” to “Maybe,” depending on the participants’ exposure to the latest technological innovations. In contrast, when asked what the chances are that the teaching profession will be the most sought-after career in a decade, everyone answers flatly, “No way.” I navigate the gap between the crazy reality of the technology fields and the feeling of stagnation—or even prolonged, frustrating regression—that many educators experience. So how have I survived in the system for over three decades? It’s simple: I’m an entrepreneur. Not just an entrepreneur creating local solutions, but one who drives innovation and entrepreneurship throughout my environment, constantly expanding my sphere of influence and accelerating it through building broad networks, boundless curiosity, and a lighthearted approach to life. My approach combines initiative, leading by example, and optimism. For over a decade, I’ve been writing posts on the website I founded, Education for Creativity, engaging the community in dialogue around values, technology, and innovative pedagogy. Throughout my years in education across various roles, I have accumulated extensive experience guiding and mentoring education teams, instructors, and administrators. I believe that the way to influence the world passes through education, and that the most important element in education is trust. I believe in people and their ability to make an impact and am concerned about the superficial discourse surrounding the massive changes brought by the artificial intelligence revolution to nearly every aspect of our lives. Even though Silicon Valley estimates that Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)—capable of performing most human-level tasks—will not be achieved within the next four years, the progress of the technological revolution is inevitable. This rapid advancement is already affecting our children and adolescents in every domain. Therefore, adults’ current avoidance of understanding the scale and essence of this change places the next generation at risk—especially in Israel, where national strength and survival are based on the quality of human capital. Now, take a deep breath and dive with me into this new, wondrous, and dangerous world.
